Recognizes the interface and features of the block-based programming tool.2.Explains the functions of a program presented in a block-based programming tool.DURATION: 2 LESSON HOURSMATERIALS USED:"Block Based Programming" Animation "I Know Scratch" Presentation, Scratch Bulletin Issue1 LEARNED WORDS: Block-based programming, Tool, Code, ScratchCURRICULUM :The next lessons are now starting to code, we will use an application called Scratch for this.The "Block Based Programming" animation is watched and the concept of block based programming is explained.After being told that we will use Scratch, one of the block-based programming tools, in our lessons, Scratch is introduced with the help of the "I Know Scratch" presentation.By creating a class in the Scratch online application, students are enabled to become members.The Scratch application is entered and the screen elements are introduced.Code blocks in Scratch Bulletin Issue1 are introduced. A simple animation is created step by step with students using these code blocks.ASSESMENT AND EVALUATION :They are asked to create an animation themselves using the code blocks they learned in the lesson.
